Al is a 20+ year professional service and account executive focused on the technology and software sectors (including SAS). Most recently, he has served in customer-facing roles to help clients transform their approach to delivering higher-quality healthcare. To this end, he has leveraged machine learning, bots, and technology to upgrade their web and mobile applications, which has significantly improved customer experience and outcomes while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Previously, Al spent nine years at Dell EMC in sales finance, strategic enterprise software sales, and asset management, serving Fortune 500 clients such as CVS and Bank of America, plus many mid-market firms based in Boston, NYC, Connecticut, and Canada. Al began his career as a public accounting auditor with Ernst & Young, working in various industries, including banking, retail, hedge funds, and biotech. He has experience as an M&A/Contract and SEC Attorney with Skadden Arp Slate Meagher & Flom, LLP.
Al is passionate about meeting clients’ needs where they are, solving cross-functional issues, negotiating, measuring, and improving ROI, and applying critical thinking collaboratively to solve complex business challenges.
Alfonso Torrijos holds a J.D./MBA from the University of Michigan Law School and Ross School of Business, an MSA from Bentley’s McCallum School of Business, and an undergraduate economics degree from Harvard College.
