Andrew Rodriguez's Experience

Andrew has been actively involved in innovation since starting his career with BELLCORE (formerly Bell Labs).  He has been on the ground floor of early-stage startups raising capital and driving sales, negotiating and closing partnerships for incubated business, and was part of SONY’s corporate development team in Japan.

Andrew currently sits on the board of Latinos in Bio and serves as the Chair of the Governance Committee.  He has previously served on the boards of The Excel Academy charter school and ALPFA (Association of Latinos Professionals in Accounting and Finance).

Andrew is passionate about social equity and has been actively involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.  He was the founding member of MilliporeSigma’s Leaders of Color Action Network, Deloitte’s LatinX ERG, and Milagros para Niños Council for Children’s Hospital Boston.  He recently spoke on the topic of “Implicit Biases and Workplace Tension” at LaunchBio.

Andrew holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a MEE from The Cooper Union.
