Anthony Lockhart's Experience

Anthony Lockhart is co-founder of Men of Miami (M.O.M.) Tools, LLC, a start-up company which holds a patent on an innovative tooling product, which reduces machine downtime by 50% and improves productivity by as much as 30% in machine dies.  The Company’s growth is greatly attributed to its ability to establish successful joint ventures and strategic partnerships to identify new practices and techniques to continue to adapt its products to changing needs of the markets it serves.  The company’s target markets include high-end manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, defense, appliances, and medical products.

Prior to establishing M.O.M Tools, Anthony spent over 30-years in the energy industry holding various positions of leadership in sales and marketing for Centerior Energy (FirstEnergy).  Through Anthony’s various roles with the regulated and de-regulated companies of FirstEnergy, he established himself as a leader and innovator in the greater Cleveland/Akron communities.  Anthony has a 40-yr deep rooted and extensive network in Ohio in both industry and local governments.

Anthony is actively involved in the community, including Shaker Schools Foundation, Board of Governors for the Meridia Health System (1992-1998), Shaker Heights School Board (1966-1998), Shaker Heights City School District Finance and Audit Committee, Providence House Vice President of the Board (1992-2002), Past Chairman of the Board for Cuyahoga Plan of Ohio, Inc., Past Chairman of Summa Health System Board of Directors, Antioch Baptist Church Board of Deacons.   

Anthony attended Miami University (Oxford, OH) and received a BS in Industrial Technology; Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) and received a MA in Industrial Economics; and earned a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
