Landon Lockhart's Experience
Landon Lockhart is a multi-dimensional executive with nearly two decades of experience driving software and analytics-driven solutions, resulting in millions of dollars of cost savings for large manufacturing enterprises. With vast experience in transportation, commercial operations, sourcing, and financial and revenue management, Landon has keen expertise in creating efficiencies in the supply chain, transportation, sales, finance, procurement, and IT. As a cross-functional project team manager, Landon ensures on-time and on-budget data and analytics tools completion. Landon is a change agent who thrives in fast-paced, innovative organizations using big data as a competitive advantage, making him a trusted advisor to C-Suite leadership.
Landon most recently served as the VP of Global Supply Chain Analytics. Landon was recruited in 2020 to lead the transformation of data utilization in the supply chain, tasked with building new analytics capabilities for this Fortune 500 organization. During Landon’s tenure, he significantly improved statistical demand forecasting pioneered an enterprise-wide metrics reporting system for spending, inventory, and fulfillment, and drove inventory reduction by implementing inventory optimization practices. Landon also discovered over $2B in indirect expenditures by developing a spend analytics platform that features new data architecture and metrics.
Early in his career, Landon held a 14-year tenure with General Electric, holding several positions in revenue and commercial auditing, program management, sourcing, procurement, and data and analytics. As a leader, Landon is recognized for his ability to create an inclusive and collaborative environment where every team member has an equal opportunity to contribute and grow. He believes in treating everyone with respect and fairness and firmly believes that meritocracy is the foundation of a successful and high-performing team.
In addition to his professional experience, Landon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics from the University of Notre Dame. An active community member and thought leader, Landon currently serves on the advisory board for a Modal Learning Platform Start-up, is a co-founder of the CommitMEN Scholarship Fund, and has served on the Volunteers of America Illinois board.
Landon is featured in a course for the Internet of Things within the prestigious MIT Executive MBA Program, helps as a regular keynote speaker, and has served as a presenter and panelist at many conferences.
