Phyllis D. Sims is the Executive Vice President of the management consulting firm AJS Consulting Company LLC. She has over 35 years of experience in management, researching racial/ethnic inequities pertaining to health outcomes. Her expertise led to presentations at local and national conferences, publications, and reports for City and State officials. In addition, Phyllis has used her research skills to provide data analysis, strategies, and policy development for for-profit and not-for-profit entities at the highest level.
Phyllis’s business background includes the following:
Researching to support the practice areas for AJS Consulting Company LLC.
Investing in women’s empowerment and equity.
Identifying and analyzing key variables for real estate investment.
Assisting in conducting Board of Director’s training.
In addition to her academic credentials, Phyllis is also on the Board of Advisors for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, a member of the Board’s Development Committee, and a member of the Museum’s volunteer organization (the Associates), where she is Co-Chair for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) and a fundraiser for the Museum’s Annual Art in Bloom Event sponsored by the Associates.
Phyllis has a Master of Science Degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a major in English and a minor in Library Science from Miami University in Oxford, Oho.
